Who's the ACT White Ribbon Sports Challenge team?
Rob Regent - WRD Community Ambassador and founder of the ACT White Ribbon Sports Challenge
A sporting 'could-a-been' and lunch-time legend best known for boring opposition bowling attacks, cherry-picking goals at lunchtime soccer and show-boating on the wing in mixed touch. Currently working as a Sport for Development Consultant with the Australian Sports Commission, Rob brings to the ACT White Ribbon Sports Challenge years of experience in sport for social change programs in countries including Sierra Leone, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon, Samoa and Fiji.
Rob reckons that despite copping years of sledging on (and off) the sports field, most blokes he's played with and against are good blokes that do the right thing. Rob's email is rob@beagoodbloke.net and when he's in Australia you can also catch him on his mobile on 0432 935 810.
An avid winter sports enthusiast, Danni still doesn't class herself as sporty, but nonetheless is a fan of good blokes and is sure that they are out there but perhaps need a little encouragement. With her background in marketing communications, Danni is here to help spread the word about the Challenge and help clubs understand the value of the program to their players (and their girlfriends and wives), to the community and to club sponsors. Danni's email is danni@beagoodbloke.net.
Matt is a soccer nut (or is it football these days) and is in his final year of a Sports Management degree at University of Canberra. Matt is kindly donating his time to the Challenge by helping us put together a Sponsorship Proposal and lending a level of Gen Y expertise to the social media campaign.

Rob and Jeff from Infinity Technologies have kindly offered their services to develop the ACT White Ribbon Sports Challenge website for no cost as its contribution to the challenge to help promote a healthy attitude by sports men towards women. If this was done commercially the cost to develop this website would have been approximately $5,000, for which the White Ribbon Sports Challenge team are eternally grateful. Infinity Technologies hope their help will help make a small contribution to a worthy cause.
If you want to share your stories/ideas, have any questions, suggestions or complaints, or would just like some more information about the White Ribbon Sports Challenge, please send us an email.
